Pass Plus

Pass Plus is a short driving course that can help reduce the cost of your car insurance, and help build your confidence on the road. You will be able to practice your driving skills in new situations, such as on motorways, with Ian’s support and supervision. Furthermore, there is no additional test at the end, just a certificate to confirm you have taken the course.Pass Plus

The Pass Plus course is six hours long, which you can have as one full session, or split into shorter sessions. The course covers:
Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have road accidents, especially those under 25. 43% of young drivers have an accident in their first year, and 37% in the second year. Advanced driving programmes such as Pass Plus can reduce the number of accidents by up to 70%. The extra experience and confidence you gain when you take your Pass Plus might be what stops you from being in an accident.

Most insurers will give you a one year no-claims discount for having a Pass Plus certificate. The amount you can save with this discount could easily cover the cost of taking the course, plus you have additional knowledge and security from taking the course. Before you can take Pass Plus, you need to have passed your practical driving test, and have obtained your full driving licence. There is no time limit to take your Pass Plus after passing, but within the first few months is most ideal. The course is optional, but highly recommended, especially for less confident drivers.
